Boise, Idaho Temple
We also had one of those "it's a small world" experiences. The sealer, R. Wade Curtis, lived in Germany during the same time as Derek's family. And he knew Derek's parents! We made sure to get his contact info so Mom and Dad Cheney can get a hold of him.
And Mom, I looked at the carpet, upholstery, and wood in the temple, and it varied. Everything was really neutral; tan or cream carpets, cherry colored or oak colored wood, and creamy neutral upholstery.
So, between the two of us, as of June 11, 2008 Derek and I have attended these temples
Frankfurt, Germany
Fukuoka, Japan
Washington DC
Raleigh, NC
Provo, UT
Timpanogos, UT
Salt Lake, UT
Seoul, South Korea
Chicago, IL
and of course, the Boise, ID temple, too! I know compared to a few of you readers out there, 10 isn't a huge number, but we're working on it!
We're curious to know, what temples have you all been to?
Awesome guys. Love the cute new picture of you two also. Ok, I think ten Is alot! Ok, I have been to...Raleigh, DC, Idaho Falls, Salt Lake, Bountiful, Mt. Timpanogas, Seattle Greg has been to these that I haven't Columbia, SC, Atlanta, Provo, and one in Brazil somewhere. So between the two of us that makes 11. But we have been around ALOT longer than you so you guys are doing fantastic!! :)
ReplyDeleteLet's see...Boston (where we were sealed), Seattle, Provo, Nauvoo, Palmyra, Seattle, Salt Lake, Timpanogas, Columbus, Orlando, Ogden, San Diego, Redlands,...I don't know if Chris went to the one in Taiwan, but probably not because I would of known if he had. The temple in Honduras was built after I served there, so I haven't been to one out of the country.
ReplyDeleteThis is so neat to see all of the temples you have been to! We had a really great time that night - thanks so much for being our friends! You two are great!
ReplyDeleteLet's see for us nothing exotic, but the temples for both of us are: Ogden, Idaho Falls, Bountiful, Salt Lake, Logan, Boise, Spokane, Columbia River, Seattle, Portland, Rexburg. Brent also been to Provo, San Diego, Preston England. I've been to Mt. Timpanogas, and to see the grounds of Manti. Lots more to go see! Amazing to think that we haven't even seen a tenth of the number of temples on the earth! Have a great day you two!
