Fourth of July Plans

The fourth of July almost here already!  Tomorrow!  And Derek and I don't have anything planned.  We haven't ever started any of our own traditions for this holiday.  When I was a kid, we always got fireworks to set off in the evening.  And Derek says when he was a kid, they went on base to watch fireworks because Germans obviously didn't celebrate the holiday.  He said they might have also gone bowling or something like that.  I think it would be nice to have some other special traditions along with the lighting of fireworks, but it's almost always too hot during the day.  I think if it were up to Derek, we'd have a movie marathon of some sort.  But that's his idea for any day off.... :)  Any ideas?
